Great day of detecting..part 3 same site, different day

Had 4 hours to get some detecting in with Mike. After detecting this site last week I had problems with a speaker keep cutting in and out. Called Moe and he said to send them in. So no WS5's. Can't find my WS4s, I looked high and low. Took a regular set of headphones. Got there and plugged them into the remote. Screaming loud. Then I remembered that the output of the headphone jack cannot be controlled by the remote Doah!! looks like I'm the digger today. BUT, I usually have a small bag in the car with all kinds of stuff, Just in case. I have the underwater setup and I dig around in there and low and behold, a volume controller. WhooHoo!!! So off I go. I start off with the small, 9", coil. Not finding much but I keep swinging slowly. At some point, maybe 2 hours in I get a decent but somewhat scratchy signal with a high squeak in it. Out pops a 1842 Seated dime!. YAY!! I got a toasted IH with what I think is _869. I also got a nice buckle. (Anyone have any idea how old this buckle is?) and a ERIE RR lead seal.
Mike with his trusty 3030 quietly gets 5 IH and a Barber dime, 1903 and 2 rings about 6 inches apart from eac other. Just amazing what we got so far this year after pounding last year. Sure makes me wonder what we left at all the other places that we detected last year. I have a shot video of the Seated dig.

Here is a link to the live dig of the Seated Dime:

Crazy great finds that is like a whole year of hunts for me

That is a great hunt for both of you! It never ceases to amaze me what remains when you revisit a spot after pulling many coins from the same area!

me either.... your finds so far this year aren't looking too shabby mister... nice going

Congrats on some cool finds!
The toasted IH has the rusty red patina that a fatty would have due to its nickel content. 1863 perhaps?

Congrats on the outstanding finds guy's!
Looks like one of those great sites that's worth going back to over and over ... till you leave with nothing at all !

I was also thinking 1859. the back is even more toasted than the front. we did get an 1859 from there last week too. Thanks for the response.

Does look like a '9'. Maybe 1859? Can you make out the wreath on the reverse? 1859 was different than any other year IH.
