Great day of detecting part 2 button cleaned up

Here are 3 pics of the button cleaned up. I don't think military but what do I know? lol.. I found it where we found large cents and fatty IH so I think it's old but that's all I can think of.

Don't count out military it really looks like several examples of Texas military button if so nice find! !!!
 
Typically a military button is all brass. I did look through both Tice and Alberts....could not find yours. Cool button though!
 
I find examples of iron tinned back buttons all the time in south Carolina I even have a iron tinned back confederate Calvary button.I'm fairly confident that's a 1850s era button that is iron tinned backed it's not that unusual for buttons from that era.
