Great Day In The Iron Field!

We went out to the “Iron Field” Saturday and we had a super day. Doug started it off with an 1832 Capped Bust Half Dime…laying on top of the ground!

I had been digging some buckles and shotgun head stamps when I dug a first for me, a Quarter Cut Large Cent, a Classic Head!

Diane was next to score a first a 1857 Flying Eagle

I got several nice buttons an Attleboro gilt button and a W.H. Jones & Co. button which dates 1835-1840

I also got a 1920 Merc and finished up with an 1845 Large Cent and an Arrowhead. A great day for all!

Eva I call it the iron field because in most of it the iron grunt ia just about all you can hear. Here is a link to a thread that has my settings, nothing secret or magical just listening to all the machine is saying.

Got another post and video coming from this weekend hunt with more goodies from this field! :clapping:
