Great Day For a Hunt

It was great getting out today and doing some much needed down time for detecting. I didn't last near as long as Larry but I still had fun getting out.

We even stopped at some resale shops and I found 4 BIG vintage new w/tags name brand glass piggy banks. SCORE!

Thanks for looking and HH!

Another great hunt.

Don't those coal mine scatter tags ring up nice when you get your coil over one. By the way, there are people that collect those scatter tags. We used them for play money when I was a kid.

Thanks!

Oh yes, those coal scatter tags sure make a nice sound when your detector is over them. I don't mind finding them at all. I would much rather have them than a Memorial cent. When I found the first one, I looked up and sure enough, there was the coal shoot about 5 feet away. I remember finding my first coal scatter tag in Gay's yard. Hadn't a clue as to what it was at first.

Hope you guys got to and play in the dirt too.

Very cool :) How many hours were you out for?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I'm guessing a couple or so. As you can tell, I was cherry picking. :detecting::happy: HH, Nancy
