Great day for a hunt!:garrett:

My buddy, Chris and I hit it hard for 5 hours today. Went back to the spot where Chris had nailed the 1902 Barber Quarter and 26 Merc last week and picked up where we left off then. Today it was my turn for silver. Got a 27 Merc and 52d Rosie, a toasted Buffalo nickel and 11 wheat cents. This is one of those spots where there aren't a ton of good targets, but the spot has the age to yield from seated and newer. Chris scored a seated quarter on this same spot. Still swinging the 11" coil, max sen and pro mode with iron off. Beautiful day to be out swinging. HH jim tn

Thanks, El. I am checking on that New Orleans 15 cent token, too. Quite a few New Orleans cafe's around the country, it appears. HH jim tn

Jim it was a glorious day for detecting or just about anything else. You're off to a great start on silver this year. Keep them coming!

Nice digs Jim.

YES! Nice work...lots of old coins there, certainly has a possibility for "the long sought" after one on your list...:clapping:

Sixteen more keepers for Jim "Hoover" TN! Cool token.

You are just teasing us northern guys with the nice pristine looking fresh silver dime still in the dirt.:rage: Still, a great day hunting in my books!:clapping:

did manage a war nickel and 2 wheats. More importantly, saw a nice one dug. Tabman and I ran into each other, he was headed for the woods and I was sniffing around a field near the woods. He decided to swing along with me for a while and about 15 minutes into the hunt he dug a good one. I'm sure he will be posting a little later on the Teknetics forum. Give him a shout. HH jim tn

Hmmm. Tab dug a nice one while you watched? It must be really nice to get a mention!...suspense! It wasnt "the long sought" one you've been after?

Good finds on the silver and other coins. Y'all have a very productive site. Wonder what else is going to be under your coil your next hunt?
