Great coil repair tip!

Someone asked how to repair a cracked coil... "Doc" replied with a great tip I just had to share:

<B>Here's one of those secret tricks. Take an old coil cover and cut it into little 1/4 inch chips. Place them in a glass container, and add acetone. (You can get it at Walmart, Kmart, any place they sell paint.)

Give it a little while to start to melt the plastic, and stir it into a nice smooth paste.

Once it is the right consistency, just smear it on the broken, cracked, chipped, or bitten coil. Allow it to dry and it will be better than new!

Great tip! :)

That was my first thought too... My guess is that the plastic is softer and less apt to crack
