This is not a good capture but I have been playing with a new way of processing my pictures to increase the save rate. This one I wouldn't post before because it really sucks... Tell me what you think of this.. first is old and second is new.

Thanks for your comment Deno... I have a lot to learn yet but with time will get better...My friend takes such beautiful nature pictures and I'm trying to incorporate some of his work flow in my editing.

Tom, I look at all your pictures and have to say that they are not to shabby. I like them. By the way the little bird below reminds me of myself, running back and for from the waves. Reason for the name.
What kind of camera are you using to take photos. I have always use 35mm and took a photo class way back in college, but that's as far as it went. I'm wanting a nice digital SLR but just can't seem to narrow it down.
I have Canon and Nikon 35s with lens and not sure if the lens will work on the digital, but think if so would maybe lean toward one of the brands. Right now just have cheap point and shoot digital, O.K but not great for sharp shots.
Keep up the great shots. Use to live down your way, loved it.

Thanks Sandpiper, I use a Nikon D200 and most of the old Nikon lens will work on it and the D300. Most of my pictures are taken with a Sigma 70 300 apo dg macro lens which is ok but not like the better lens. I keep saving for one much better with more reach but they cost a lot of money.5 to 9 thousand and that's way to much for me. The Nikon 200 400 vr is a fantastic lens for just a little over 5 grand but I'll have to use my 200 dollar lens for a while longer... As far as canon I use to have the ae1 program 35 and loved it but when I got into digital I started with fuji and when the d70 nikon came out I bought one. I haven't looked back and love the d200.
again thanks.
