Sherry had me go to a few thrift shops to see if I could find some clothes that fit me that I can wear to the heat treating place next week and so on. Though I didn't find the kind of outfits I'l like to have found (those shop type maintenance uniforms) I did find several pair of blue jeans that might fill the bill if they are allowed in the workplace - if not I have some more jeans that fit me. (Been on this diet with Sherry and I've dropped from a 48 inch waist down to now a 42 so my other clothes are just too loose on me to wear comfortably or otherwise.
The prices were amazing. Today was yellow tag day at one place and anything with that tag was only 57 cents. Some of the clothes that were marked $3,99 were now just 57 cents.
Two other great things besides price happened too. I found some very nice sweat shirts. Figure moving up north why not get some at a cheap price. They were not only almost new but one was from my high school that I graduated from back in 1969:

and another was from the college I attended

up in Saginaw, Michigan (my former stomping grounds as a youth). Even had to buy a t-shirt that cost me a whole 99 cents. I don't know how many have heard of the Red Green Show but I had to buy a "Red Green Possum Lodge" t shirt. (Good comedy program that airs on Public Television at least in our area).

Red Green's favorite saying "If the girls don't find ya handsome, they should find you handy" . He is always building things and using duct tape to hold everything together.
And I couldn't help getting this one too - after all I am Pete in MI

Question for Mike in MI, Greg, Jamie and you other Michiganders. Isn't that supposed to read Great LAKES (with an S ) not Great Lake State?
So spent a handfull of bills and walked away with 3 big bags stuffed with shirts, sweat shirts and pants.
Going to be heading up to Saginaw tomorrow - wonder which one I should wear :
God sure knows how to make His kids happy and meet thier needs in the process. Thank you Father God. Thank you Lord Jesus.
