Here are my digs from yesterday's afternoon session at the old farm house. Owner said it had been hunted 4 or 5 times but we were welcome to hunt it anyhow to see if they missed anything. I found, 5 wheats oldest was 1916-S. 1900 indian, gorgeous 1907 V nickel, 3 silver including a decent 1892 barber quarter. A destroyed merc dime and a Rosie as well. All in all a great hunt

woww...congrats//i am totally jealous of the barber quarter...i need to dig one!!
and i am blown away by the condition of some of the V nicks i am seeing come out of the ground on this forum!!....
really awesome to see that...but again, i wish it could happen here
the soil in my region just destroys nickels
great stuff!

Nice finds! My nicks suffer the same fate they look rough!

Nice finds !
When your told the site has already been hunted others, it always makes you think - if I did this well ... what the heck did the other guy's find ?

That was a great hunt! I haven't been able to be out here in a while, but you are still tearing it up!!!

Really a great job gleaning that yard with the etrac. Many of the houses I get permission to hunt now have already been gone over a time or two. I look at it as a challenge to see what I can find that the previous guys missed.

Nice finds!!

Fantastic Terry! That's a nice farm house with some nicer finds! That V-nickel is unreal, they come out around here like they've been sitting in brine for their whole life. Too much fertilizer or something...
Great hunting!

Great finds!

In my family we love to hunt a place that someone said it's been hunted before. In every case someone always walks away with a keeper or two.
