[attachment 343314 IMAG4985.b.jpg][attachment 343313 IMAG4976.jpg][attachment 343312 IMAG4968.jpg] Had a good 3 hour hunt yesterday! This is a place we've hunted several times before, but because of the wet weather last fall the grass was way too tall and thick to hunt it. This spring the owner turned his cattle in on it and it is getting back to swingable again, although it is a little too tall yet, but I hunted it anyway, here is what I found. Found the Merc first of the silver, later I found the small silver colored coin folded in half! At first I thought I found my first half dime, especially when I field washed it and saw the word dime on it! Got home and found out it was Uncle Sam's Play Dime! History on this is also fascinating!

The one that I really an not sure of is the American Eagle with the Liberty Bell, only one I could find on Ebay, didn't give a description or history, it just said a WWII Sweetheart Pin. I looked up the sweetheart pins and they say sweetheart on them? Does anyone know for sure what this is? Thanks and Go Get down and Dirty!!!

Nice finds missed the merc by one year and a D mint mark.

Congrats on some interesting finds

Thanks, yeah it's my second 1917, first one was an S mint. Still lookin for the 16d!!!

Congrats on some very nice finds!

I think the long piece with the question mark is an old screwdriver handle. It had different shafts to put in the end for Standard, Phillips, etc screwdriver tips.

Thanks, comisoas! You are correct! That is the second one I've found and didn't know what it was!
