grayghost headphones for 3030

When using the grayghost headphones are the target sounds suppose to be low.
The sounds on my machine are about 1/4 of the sound of the land headphone volume is at max
Is there another setting to use besides the volume to make the sounds louder

Agree with both of you. However, I have had no problem hearing signals even in windy conditions, but I have to max the volume on the CTX. I can see where the audio can be a problem for some. I am not sure, but I do not think that the waterproof GGs have volume controls on the phones themselves. If they do, please advise.

I sold mine off and built a set of grey ghost that are for the at pro.
Now I can hear targets around wind and boats.
I also find it odd that Grey Ghost hasn't fixed them yet since almost all have said they can't hear targets either but yet the Amphibians can.

I Make Headphones and they are louder than GG and tighter on the head and clearer, you can turn the volume down on these, the people I made them for all say they are way better than most of them out their, I have an ad in the acc. forum on findmall, headphones by HR for the 3030.

The original GG are only just slightly louder than the yellow koss headphones but both suffer from low sensitivity and compressed sound range.

I am not happy with GG for the ctx. It's hard to hear the targets in the surf .The Amphibians I use on my Infinium are great. I wander if you can put a plug for the ctx on the Amphibians ?

So the GGA's work loud and clear then?

I was going to pick up a set, but maybe I should just go with the Minelab ones for water detecting?
