Gray Ghost underwater phones?

Does anyone know what is going on with the Gray Ghost underwater headphones. Joe at DeMarco Detector Sales announced that he would have them available to ship on 7-8. I have sent him two PM's and left him a couple of voice messages and he has not responded back. Has anyone received them? Does anyone know if they are back ordered? Doesn't seem like a good way to do business by not even a quick note back to let me know what is going on. Thanks

i got my gRay ghost the other day from NED,,,,, dunno about the GAY ghost lol

I got mine from a different dealer also. A nearby local dealer about drop the phone when I told him I had a pair, he said he was told they were not available yet...?!? They have great audio when you do get a pair. Cracking up at the title typo...:lmfao:

You don't need them anyway, its against the law to water hunt in Wisconsin:nono:The dnr will take detectors away I was told.

I've also had mine for over a month from the guys that supplied all the dealers - they sound and work great.
Time and tide waits for no man...or equipment supplier...

I talked to Gary at DetectorPro on Friday. There was a delay in getting the cables in. Dealers are hoping to get them in next week.

This is getting off topic, but for those of you that might be interested, here is some info from the Wisconson DNR website regarding metal detecting in their State Parks. I really don't know what they are thinking sometimes. You will note at the very bottom, "Last revised: Monday February 27 2012", so it is the current information.....

You can't detect on Texas state parks lands either but if you are on BLM or Army Corps of Engineers waterways, they often will let you water detect around the shore. You need to find the Corps office for the body of water you want to detect and get their free permit.

Here are some pictures........Not professional pictures but, wanted to respond.
