Gray Ghost Headphones & Sovereign GT

I purchased a pair of Gray Ghost Headphones, to use on my Sovereign Gt, only to find out that there is a back round noise ( like running water sound ) out of my headphones, so instead i put those Gray Ghost headphones on my Whites DFX and there is no back round noise. I would appreciate your help Thanks Raymond
 
I got a pair a cheapie headphones with my purchase of the safari from kellyco. Well, they shot craps, so I bought some sony headphones from walmart (30usd), and they are great. Is there a difference between md headphones that you buy from detecting sights and regular stereo headphones?
