Gray Ghost Amphibian headphones for the Garrett At Pro

For those that own a set of Gray Ghost Amphibian headphones for the Garrett At Pro how are they working out for you.

I have a hearing problem so I purchased the Gray Ghost headphones hoping they would be louder.
I just went to the local pool last week and tested both of the headphones.
With the Gray Ghost headphones wide open for sound as compared to the blue headphones-I could not tell any difference between the two. This is from
a guy who has poor hearing, so take that for what it is worth.

The Gray Ghost are much more comfortable though.

Toby, I bought a pair of AMPHIBIANS for my AT-Pro, shortly after they came out for the AT-Pro!! I used them one day on my AT-Pro, in a LAKE for a 7 1/2hrs. HUNT, and really LIKED
THEM!! So LAST Month I bought another pair of AMPHIBIAN'S, and had them HARDWIRED into One of my EXCALS'!! Hope this HELPS, Les Robinson.

I started a thread (i.e., war) a while back concerning the Gray Ghost Amphibs. I believe they sound and fit better than the Garrett blues and are worth having for wet and water hunts. I still like the sounds of the Garrett Master land headphones better for dry use.

Got them on my AT Gold, they work, fit and sound great. This is 3rd pair I've got for different machines, unbeatable for comfort, imo. Did take them apart ("de-glued") and reglued the sound chambers/etc with better adhesive, making sure they were perfectly sealed.

A two pair owner. One is on the ATX, the other on the Infinium and when funds permit...one will go on the ATPro. Until then I will swap them around when needed.
99% of all my hunting is in the salt / fresh water. There is much less wind noise. The volume control for the Infinium is WONDERFUL!
I used the Garrett blue for 5 years, I will not go back!
Also the original Garrett blue headphones would not turn the ATPro's speaker off. That has been fixed in their latest version.
The GG Amphibian headphones are compatible with all the AT series detectors.

Gotta say, I haven't found the funds yet, but every time the subject comes up, it's a major concensus for them. Artie
