GraverDigger asked me to post some more pictures of my Scoop that I got for Christmas, and we want to get all your Feed Back on it... So lets hear it.

iv got one just like it but with a strait handel.on mine id like a longer handel and bigger scoop.i bought the Stealth and it is HUGE too big and heavy for me on beach but ok under water.

But do you think this one will work...and if it breaks I can get one like yours and have all the women of Wisconsin pose with it!!:clapping:

It's a Bill Babbs scoop with 12" deep bucket, 1/2" holes, a SS tip on the bucket and a break down handle.

The aluminium construction keeps it light enough, the 1/2" hole are large enough for good drainage but catch most targets except for stud earings and chains, the SS tip on the bucket give good cutting power in weeds and rocks without excessive wear and tear and the breakdown handle allows me to put it in a travel bag and strap it to my motorcycle for easy handling. The 12" x 6" bucket is big enough to dig deep holes fast for when you are working in the surf and the hole keeps trying to fill up on you.

It works for me in my conditions, yours looks great as well but I would prefer a deeper bucket and the SS tip.

Cheers,

PS: Bill Babbs give great customer service and a custom product at a reasonable price.

those holes measure 5/8" - they just look so big

see if a dime will fall thru. them

and like it said early, i have never seen one bent in that spot before.

You could always add an SS tip and extend the bucket at the same time. The extra bit on the front of the bucket is good for chrry picking items that fall through the holes.

I bought the same one. Had a hard time digging. I ended up cutting off the handle and adding a 3'6"long 1/2 inch aluminum pipe. Worked a little better, but was still difficult digging deep. Bought a second scoop. Stainless steel 6" scoop. It's heavy, but does the job.
