I want to tell you three and all the others who have responded to my never ending list of questions Thank you. To often assistance is taken for granted, these three guys have responded to multiple PM's with what must seem like stupid questions to someone who has been doing this as long as they have. I have never owned any detector before and feel I made the best choice for me in no small part to this entire forum and these three gentlemen. I am looking forward to joining the metal detecting community, and am happy to be a member of such a great resource for the hobby.

And I really enjoy helping guys out. You have started on a adventure of a lifetime. There ain't nothing not like seeing the GOLD in the bottom of your scoop. Dirt hunting to me just ain't the same although in the winter I hunt a lot of dirt. This has been my escape, stress releaver, hobby for 20 years. I know I lurk a lot and don't post much and I never show my finds but there is a reason for that. Again I was glad to help you out. If ever you have a question be sure to ask. I never had anyone to teach me anything I had to learn it all by reading and trying different things. Sort of the hard way. I never even messed with the Fourms or the Internet untill 5 or 6 years ago. I have never minded helping people that want to listen and willing to read. The history behind the things you find will be part of the adventure. I am 63 and I try to hunt 3 or 4 times a week. I hope when my time comes I go with a detector in my hands. Maybe God will even let me be the huntmaster if I make it up there. I know I won't be able to walk thru the gates but I hope there will be enough room for me to slide under the gates and he says to me man,you are SAFE now. :D: :D:  Always glad to help the ones that listen. You did Good HH Jerry aka Tinfoil
