Gravediggermax Comes to the rescue again:super:

I headed for holiday in the USA Virginia Beach with my Garrett Infinium. I only took my box and coils because I had a brand new Anderson Shaft and lower stem left from last year at my relatives. When I arrived I was told it was in the garage. I searched and searched but no stem:confused: I searched every nook and cranny but no stem, I was borrowing a scoop from Max and I e-mailed him and he sorted me out with a stem and scoop. I was also invited out for a meal with Max, Lowtide and Bobby Scott.

I had a fantastic holiday with a few keepers thanks to great detectorists I hope you make it over here one year so I can return the favour.

Toddy

i was in the lane same week. didnt get to meet toddy but did get to meet grave digger and lowtide tim . i only get to the beach once a year. had a great time except for the morning that guy accidently got run over by the garbage truck . sad , found alot of clad and what not. unfortunatly the gold colored chain was not gold . boo who. oh well maybe next year.

no im afraid he didnt. passed by the guy a few times that morning , the last time i passed by him was a minute before he got backed over by trash truck. to tell you the truth the first couple times i walked past him i couldnt tell if there was a person there as he was homeless and was sitting in one of those real low beach chairs and had himself wrapped up in a blanket plus he had a hat on so the only part of his body exposed was from his mouth to his eyes but he had sunglasses on too so you really had a hard time seeing that there was a person there. i didnt realize what had happened until after police and medical arrived . could only hear bits and pieces what was going on around me as i had headphones on and was near the surf. sad but im kinda suprised it doesnt happen more often with all the people who sleep out on the beach at night. not so many during the week but the weekend had alot who looked like they drank too much and werent gonna wake up anytime soon.
