This marker is on the front lawn as you walk up to the house I'm trying to get premission on.I meet the lady last spring at a yard sale she had cleaning out the house and barn. But I have'nt seen her around the place. They still cut the grass there but I have'nt seen anyone there but I have the name of the trust of the land just have to get a hold of her.I think the house go's back to around late 1700's

Whats with the skull and crossbones on the marker.

I looked up the skull and crossbones but was not able to get a definitive answer. Speculations were; symbol of mortality, Freemasons grave, person died of plague.
