We took my 6 & 8 year old granddaughter and grandson camping at Yogi Bear Park in Fremont, Indiana these past 5 days. The other day, I asked them if they wanted to see if we could find anything in the area behind our MH, and they were all in. They had the Silvermax a chirping and after showing them how to use the Garrett Pin Pointer, they could find the exact spot of the "treasure". So, I would dig out a plug, and move it a foot away from the hole, and let them see whether the Pin Pointer signal was still at the hole or in the plug.
My 6 year old granddaughter picked up on tearing thru the plug - worms and all - until she found it. I showed them to to replace the plug so as to make it look as nice as before. We found a pull tab, a big 4 link piece of chain, and five pennies - you would have thought they had dug up Blackbeard's hidden treasure! That was a blast.
