grandaughter/xlt finds

Tonight my granddaughter got out with the XLT I got for them and found three dimes and two pennies. I took the middle part of the shaft out but it`s still a little heavy. She was on cloud nine but after about thirty minutes and five coins later she said " poppy my backs hurting a little" so we called it good for the evening. I was feeling pretty good myself. Now both my granddaughters have found coins on their own....well poppy did dig them..lol

great story tom.. thanks for sharing..... dont teach them too well ,too much competion in this game already lol lol...
 
This is a great hobby when family members like going with you without being coerced. My college age son takes spells when he asks to go detecting. Hey, if he wants to go, what could be better. Congrats to your grand kids, they'll probably tell everyone about their finds.
