Got the bad news on the master hunter. I,m afraid I have a boat anchor! Garrett said touch pad I needed is no longer available:rant: They offered 40% off on new CX MASTER HUNTER .:clapping: SUE at Garrett said the 3 cross fire coils I have should work with the new CX. Any thoughts on that ? Took my new 1500 out yesterday for about 3 hrs. and got $8 bucks in clad . First time out in 20 years, and how things have changed !!!!!!!:surprised: This school yard is hunted regularly, I,m sore in so many places, but in a good way!:stretcher: The GTI 1500 works as advertised. Got fooled a few times on crumpled up foil, but some things never change! Found several .25s in one hole, must have been part of a role? I,m really enjoying this forum ,I,am learning a lot about coin shooting, as my main focus in the past was relics.

sorry to hear that .you might try http://brokendetector.com/ he has some old parts might be able to take care of you.

That 40% off a new master Hunter CX doesn't sound like a bad deal.....remember, the Master Hunter CX has a true all metal mode. The GTI 1500 does not. If you don't, those cpils might be salvageable for a few bucks......What size were they?

John; the coils are 12.5" , 9.5," and a super sniper 4.5". all Crossfire. Garrett also said I could get 40% off new coils by trading up the old coils. The coils I have, were never used. I can,t stack the 40% discount, but have to trade up one at a time .:nopity:
