GPX5000 for wet sand beach detecting?

Anyone used the GPX5000 for wet sand beach detecting?

I'm interested to know if you found the Salt/Gold timing good for small jewellery like a small gold earing etc.?
Also, can anyone give feedback after using the Coin/Relic timing on the wet sand?
 
Pretty sure that is a do it all machine right there.. But I think if I owned one I would stay away from the beach with mine too damn expensive to replace... But it should work fine if you choose to use it on the beach.
