GPX 5000

Tried the GPX 5000 on high mineral CA ground, with the stock DD ,very quiet and stable, no gold yet. I found plenty of small caliber bullets previously detected with my TDI. Depth on some bullets was 22in, this in ground that stacked one inch of that black stuff on my magnet pick. For you motor car fans I would compare the TDI as a stock car and the GPX as Indy. The cost percentage is about the same too.

It's a great machine, Calibil. I'm very fond of the GPX-5000 myself. It's without a doubt the quietest detector I have used to date although recent rain where I am located (in Australia) has broken our 10 year drought but has caused a propensity for picking up on Hotrocks. My wife and I both use a GPX-5000 on several digs we've been maintaining and we've managed to find a startling array of different sized gold with them.

Cheers!
