Beautiful Gold...how deep? etc?? Would you have found it as "easily" with the previous model? Without revealing the secret spot could you say which County in N Ca you were in????
thanks
Fred

Wow......That's some nice Siskyou gold!!! How much does that bigger on weigh?...Wheelbubble I think you should change your name to "Heavy Gold" ... Cheers, Ron

Hi Ron I was hunting with Chip Privitt at a patch that I know of, the same area the the superbowl nugget came out of...Chip recovered this nugget,it is over one ounce,it was at 16"....He was using the stock 11" coil on the 4000...I only got one that day 1dwt,but in the previous week I had recovered 11 nice nuggets...I was using a 4000 with a 11" commander mono...Have good day Ron I appreciate the response...

Hello Fred That nugget was at 16"s deep,I have been over that exact spot with the 3500 and so has Chip with 3500 and 11" mono we never heard it, according to Chip it was a very small whisper with the 4000... (siskiyou co ).. We have taken many nuggets from that same area with the 3500,but the 4000 has seemed to open it up again....Have good day Fred and thanks for the response...

I wasn't aware that we had to report to you where we make our finds..But if you research the web and forums I'm sure you can come up with the location...The folks that I take to that location has never came up dry, they always score a nugget or two and they are nice nuggets...Cherry pickers don't score there but if you know how to metal detect you can always find a couple...

thanks for the response I appreciate it

P.S. There is still a big one there....

Wheelbubble,

It is fun to see that you consistantly come up with interesting and good-sized
gold.
Are there any characteristics about the 4000 that you are using that could not
be done on the 3500? For example, it seems that the gain/sensitivity ratio's
can be played with and that is giving some folks additional options over
"cleaned out" and very tough ground.

You've got a great streak going, keep it up...

All the best,

Flak
