Gower beach produces

Swansea jack

New member
Haven't been out for a while DIY and work severely curtailing my available time for detecting. 3 hours this afternoon and the surf God smiled, probably a reward for my hard work

Well done mate, good to see Welsh finds. I spent 5hours on Friday at Rest Bay and Newton beach - one brass door knob, couple of pennies and a copper braclet! I seem to have really hot and extremely cold spells - unfortunately its damn chilly at the moment!

Keep up the good work
Neil

Spot on Neil;
I had a torrid time during the winter and spring but you always seem to come out of it. Remember its the bad times that make the good times great.

I am relatively new to this, but the good times really do help. I won the Cardiff Scan Club beach find for August last night with my gold and emerald ring I found earlier in the month. I imagine a photo will be in October or Novembers Searcher magazine, as they normally are.

Going to have a sweep at Barry tonight, and then have my first go at a new farm for a couple of hours on Saturday morning. I'll have to tread carefully with that one as the farmers not normally keen to let people on, but my mate has smooth talked him by building his kitchen!

Cheers
Neil
