I'm fairly new to the "forum" thing. I've had my MXT going on 4 years and I wouldn't trade it for any other. My hubby has the DFX and same with him. We went out to an old private yard a couple of SHORT times and this is what I rescued. This is my first seated find. :yikes: I couldn't believe it when I saw it. We can't wait to go back there after it cools down a bit.

Hey, I've got one just like yours. :beers: I've done quite well with it. If I do say so myself. Hubby would agree also. I've used the DD coil a couple of times, but I'm afraid to use it in private lawns for fear of making too big of a plug. Just doesn't seem to pinpoint the target as good as the other coils. Maybe it's just me?
 
I got the 6X10DD pinpointing down and I have no problems in lawns or park grass with pinpointing.:crazy: I know it can be frustrating :rage: It just takes a little time to get the hang of it, practice, practice. :cheers:

I'll give it a try again. Larry uses his most of the time and he loves it. OK, I'll do it. :surrender:

My wife and I both love our MXTs and would not trade them for anything. My Wife uses the 4.5x7 DD Excelerator coil and I use the 6" DD Excelerator coil. They pinpoint right on the money. Just a suggestion but you might try one. HH Dennis in Idaho

It's always great to get a "First" in any category. Thanks, too, for posting. I wish more females would post because I know there are more active in the hobby that it might appear.

It wasn't very deep at all. Maybe 5". It's just a cute little toy gun amongst all the other goodies. What a site to detect!!
