Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505. Control box now mounted under the S-rod. Repositioned coil input so control face would be right-side up. Probably voided the warranty. Don't try this at home. I'm just having fun and not claiming anything. HH. Matt

That has to be the most pointless mod I have ever seen...Sorry to criticize, but I shoot from the hip...you cannot clearly see the screen now, and you DID just void your warranty, and lucky you did not brick your detector...there are traces under the film on the face...sheesh...If your gonna mod, at least make it functional.

HH,

Naw Gogo. Looks to me like he was trying to make the unit *less* top heavy. If he is the type of operator that does most everything by sound, then maybe not so bad. My only wondering, can he get his hand in there Ok. What the hell.....Smitty

I mean...If it works for ya, great. I always conider resale value whenever I mod anything...Will I be able to sell this...Will my mods be useful to the next owner too???
