11:00 P.M. Fox local news...Monday night 2/25/08. .Our wonderful weather man" Quote" " Well folks we see it different than everyone else", At 7:00 A.M. you will have only about .08
tenths inch of snow...with a total all day of about 2" to 3".... HAHAHAH what a joke..4" on the ground and much more to come the rest of the day.Thats at 7AM..2/26/08 How can they be so wrong....Looks like we may end up with 8" to 10" and maybe more....Think I will watch another chanel tonight...LOL thought I would share that, it made me laugh a little.............wonder what Service they get their forecast from.

I feel for you. It is supposed to hit 64 today and I am on my way out the door to metal detect. That's one thing about Tidewater, VA the weather changes almost by the hour.

All weekend here it was rainy... I did metal detect in the rain a little and me and my detector got muddy.. I had fun though. Now starting Monday its nice and sunny but the tide was crazy ( because of the storm that caused all the rain ) and not much good for metal detecting. Mud detecting.. or floating logs... hmmmm.. Now for the rest of the week .. nice and sunny.... and now I'm stuck at work! Arrrg. But... at least it ain't snowing.

i feel for you all up north, elton. i dont know how you all can stand all that snow and ice for half the year! its been 45 degrees and up to about 60 here, central va. but its been raining on and off for days. still a bummer. the weathermen dont know much more about the weather than we do. despite all these advances in technology, they cant say for certain if its going to rain a lot or at all. hh,

We've already gotten about 90" this winter and it is snowing right now. I've had to have snow removed from my driveway twice this winter with a bucket loader to make room for the new stuff.

And I have to go out early this morning to knock the snow off my vehicles and move them so the plow can clean up yet again...

Argh!

Weatherman did pretty good for us today. It's been climbing towards 70 most of the day.
Actually got in a half day's work, and would have taken off my bibs and just wore my shorts but my pockets were full of tools...
