GOTTA IDEA FOR DRY SAND SIFTING!!!

Hi Gang,

Gotta idea. Instead of diggin with a scoop with holes, how about using a feed scoop in dry sand to dump into a 2'X2', 2-wheeled cart with 1/2" screen for a

bottom?? The whole thing can be fairly light and on plastic wheels(got some off a child's plastic car at the dump) should "float" over the sand.

One day I'll get'er together and I'll let you know how it works!!! The only problem I can foresee is draggin this down a beach would not be wise when the Lil Urchins are amok!!! Avoid the inevitable and choose hunt times carefully.

Hello Fellow Hunters,

I tried it and the only way it can work is to add a vibrator of some sort to keep the sand flowing through the screen.

Too much trouble!!!

Yeah! Right! And too much equipment to carry! MD, long-handed scoop (or shovel) and this thing! Too much of a good thing me thinks!
