I got permission recently to hunt the site of a small school that closed down in the 1980's. The old school building has been turned into a museum by the local historical society and i promised that whatever i found with the XT70 be returned to the museum in some sort of display case.
None of the finds were very old or valuble so i decided to give them all a bit of a polish using a fine wire brush on a Dremel tool so they look nice and shiny. The case is made from a local timber called "Ironbark" and the wood is very hard and heavy. A mirror forms the backing plate and glass in front with the coin sleeve sandwiched in between.
And yes it looks good on the wall in the museum, and it feels good to give something back for others to enjoy.
Good luck,
Loz.
