Larry and I went back to the plowed field where I got the 1850 large cent on Monday, We hunted about 4 hours got lots of brass items, suspender clips, flat buttons, toe plates, etc. Then Larry got the nicest 2 cent piece I have ever seen dug, if it was not green it would grade AU 55+. About 15 minutes later I got a 1863 thick Indian cent. We had fun. My F75 was set at Sens. 80, Disc.6, notch 1, (doesn't go any lower) sounds 3 and PF. Thanks for looking........Lee

If I remember right it read in the high 40s to low 50s and was about 5 inches deep in a plowed field, In house sites I do not watch the numbers so much as listening for a nice solid signal, as you dig a lot of interesting things that may not read like a coin..............Lee
