Got Two More Keepers.

John M (Ct)

Went back to the old house foundations to see what we left behind.I decided to use the 5.3 coil on my Xlt to try to get in tighter to the brush and rocks. My first keeper was an old square buckle that looks to be a colonial era shoe buckle. After digging a few nails I moved over to the privy hole to search around it again to see what we missed and got a 1817 Large Cent. This was in an area I searched around many times in the three trips at this site and I was surprised to find it.Maybe the 5.3 picked it up between some other junk or I just plain missed the spot earlier.

Take Care, John
