It was cool, breezy and the water was choppy for a while, but then settled down somewhat. My buddy lent me his Infinium with the large DD coil and I played around with it for over an hour. My second signal was a toe ring. The large DD is somewhat of a different coil then I am used to on a PI. It gives extra signals....high low high low high low high low and even more over bobby pins. It is a little more stable then the 8" mono. I found pinpointing off the toe of the coil quite satsfactory. In the deep it was easy swinging it back and forth. The shallows gave my muscles a bit of a challenge. I also used my DetectorPro Wader to see the difference in signals in this lake. Wow! Was it ever quiet. I got one good signal and out popped a thin 10K gold ring.
