Got to test my "new" Master Hunter CX III tonight.

I had about 20 minutes to test the detector I bought on ebay today. I searched my front yard, which I have searched before using my White's Classic. It performed well with the batteries it was sent with (not fresh ones), but the unit shut down without warning after about 2 minutes. Then it seemed OK for the duration of the test, being very accurate with both ID & depth. 3 memorial cents, one clad and a 1956 siver Roosevelt. Not bad considering I live in a suburban area built in mid 1960's.

Gonna give it a real test this weekend at an old school that has been very productive with the White's.

I bought it for her, but see couldn't use it cause she's a Teknetics Turbo addict. It's a great detector! We found a nice diamond ring with it too. She just wouldn't use it so when they came out with the new Tek T2 I told her I would sell it and to help pay for a Tek T2.
Other wise it would still be my second detector to back up my 2500.

Garrett builds great machines, and that CXlll is a real treasure hound.

Hope you enjoy it!
