Its not bad to charge at all .Challenge accepted ! LOL I do save money on batteries as these will last for a few years and some have had them longer. Im being very honest here and not just trying to knock a detector , I found some serious finds with the at pro and became very good with it hunting relics. Found half reale , cannon ball ,confederate buttons and alot of other good stuff with it. Im telling you the deus is in another class when it comes to lifting targets from iron or trash its unbelievable what it will do. Will the deus out perform the AT pro on depth and target seperation yes it will anyday of the week. The at pro is good but the deus is better. I know that will ruffle some feathers but thats the truth from someone whos used both. Should a 500,00 detector outperform a 1200.00 No its like comparing apples to oranges.
I have nothing to gain from saying that im not a dealer im a relic hunter and i just want the best tool for the job, I was worried about that charging bit too but its no big deal throw it on the charger for a couple hours and your good to go for 11 hours that could be 2 hunting trips for some.If you guys are ever up my way let me know and I will give you demo of what this machine is capable of. Again im not brand loyal but I will tell you this my hunting partner used a t2 and the pro would eat its lunch imo.Im always on the deus forum posting and stop by here sometimes to see if I can help with tips on the pro.check out the vermont copper I found in todays finds. That came from a site that was beat to death by other detectors.
