Got to hand it to most machines, the stuff found wading

How about the clad dimes we find eroded almost razor thin by sand & salt action? And those laughable zinkpennies that our machines find that are almost unrecognizable. I hunt around some guys that use different water machines and everyone has found these pieces that their machines recognized. Big difference in these machines is almost nil. A hunter that keeps himself in good water, plus a little luck, will do just find with most any machine. The treasure is out there, not on the couch.
Oh, if the
Government wants to make cheap pennies that last forever. They ought to make em out of pull tab material. Last forever.
Just a couple of good natured rants.

Oh lord....... dont even give them that idea......or even steel.... ugh. If you want to give the government any ideas........ push for $10 and $20 coins lol. I have a theory....... pennies breed out there.

Oh, I want pennies to be made out of steel if not plastic (if they make them at all that is). The steel should corrode quickly + be easily slotted out.

I wish the government would do away with the penny. Those zinc pieces of junk cost us 2.41 cents for each of them. Heck I some days I get tired from digging those worthless things. I would love to find more dollar coins.

Up here in Canada there are no more pennies being made , so more $1.00 and $2.00 coins . I almost always find enough for a case of beer . - mike

Ahh Mike, Got to give to you guys upere. Our gov/ mint thinks that stamping out pennies at twice the cost is economic brilliance. On top of that , their such a joke some people won't even turn them in. ( Too much trouble) We have all have run into large spills that have been discarded. Purposely thrown on the beaches. Only to rot beyond use. Between pennies/ tabs , they make well over 50% of my finds. Still the sweet sound of a quarter, the grunt of a nickel, and the outside chance of gold keep me going.

Ps Mike. That cold beer afterwards, ahhh, I know what you mean.
