Got the new SunRay X1 Probe and no Suprise

As it is a good as all the other Sunray Produts and works like it was ment to.
Many think it is just to use after you dig a plug, but like my S1 for the Sovereign it works good on surface items down the 3 inches as you can get the general idea of where the target is with the loop and turn on the probe and find it. Sure save a lot of time and where there is multible targets it will get each one by itself. <IMG SRC="/forums/images/ml.gif" BORDER=0 ALT="m~">

No doubt about that Rick, Some of the hardest targets for me to find are the shallow surface ones.. When I used the S1 I always probed the top of the ground first, get right on top of them.. sometimes trying to retrieve a shallow target causes more grass damage than the deeper ones.. the probe helps that tremendously
 
what are the benefits of the 8inch coil over the 10inch or is the standard 10.5 coil best all around
