It's white and yes filled with black epoxy, didn't come with a cover, they may have forgot? Gonna try it today, it is small, so now I have a big and a tiny, would of preferred a medium 7 or 8 inch round but for what I'm gonna use this for; dense trash this should be about right. From what I understand, it's a concentric, you'd think at this small size it would be a double d, Who's overlapping strokes of a 6 inch oblong coil by 50%? Guess I will be if it starts finding nice targets in trash. Maybe, just maybe, they know something that I can't figure out. We shall see. I'll let you know how it goes with my limited understanding of the F75.

Hi there........
I think this little rascal is just what the - F- needs. It takes the best from both DD and CC construction
thinking,--fuses that together in a neat little coil --and the result you get is a slimline coil ....something in between
the MXT "shooter"3x6,and the Goldbug 3x6 "sniper" ---in short---------
FISHER HAS MADE IT AGAIN :thumbup:
Happy hunting and good luck to you all

Well, I got to try the smaller coil, problem is, which is now obvious; my machine is %$#$%@^^ed :veryangry:. I bought my F75 back in May and really hadn't used it that much cause I couldn't get to work right. I thought I might have gotten a bad coil with it originally, well now I know it's not the coil. So I'm going to send the F75 in for repair. Sorry I couldn't update you guys on the smaller coil. One interesting thing is ground that balanced at 52 before, with the original, larger coil now balances at 86 with the smaller coil, I don't know if that's good or bad? And as expected, you can set the sensitivity quite a bit higher if not just put it in JE mode.

were you ground balanacing it at the same spot. on my t-2 the #'s can vary from 40-70 just a few feet away. a couple of times it stayed at 90.

Hope she's better soon..........MattR.UK

All she does is yap in very short, continuous, tones that don't make sense with no purpose other than to nag the hell out of me.
