Got the first Gold for 2013

Buried Crap NJ

New member
Its been a pretty slow time since hurricane Sandy. If you want to dig clad you can find spots that will make your back hurt. I have had a fair share of clad I'd like a token every onece in a while. I drove down and met up with Surfdigger and hunted beaches less hit by the storm. Brian spied some low spots with the binoculers and off we drove for a few blocks. Brian had found a low spot and was working it as I worked near the water as the tide went out. I had a few coin and one deep sinker. Then out popped this nice 14k star sapphire with two flanking diamonds. First for the year. Check out the video if you have time its almost 15 minutes and has good value, the ring recovery is shown!
