Didn't take long at all for Minelab to get it to the dealer. I got it with the extra coil special they are running. BTW J&J Detectors in Sandy, Utah are excellent to deal with!

G,day Mike.
The 18.75 rocks and I rarely take mine off these days. BUT, I am a prospector 1st and a coin hunter last and I am in Australia where the conditions may be worlds apart from elsewhere.
I actually used to be a "coin shooter" till they took my gun off of me.

We get down to Arizona on occasion. It will definitely go on the next trip! I'm curious to see how it will do on smaller jewelry also. Good hunting to you!

Did you get the 5x10 DD? I wanted to get that one, but got the concentric instead. I just got mine today, and was very impressed with its sensitivity. I have cut little pieces of lead from a fishing weight and many couldnt be read by the 7.5 coil. They came in loud and clear with the 18.75. I also noticed that the readout is much more stable than the standard coil. Everything reads just a little bit lower, except for nickels which read a little bit higher. Well, best of luck with yours, and I would be interested in knowing what your impressions are.

[attachment 51716 xterra10dd.jpg] This is the one I got. I'm very impressed with it on the air tests I've done with small gold. I ran a couple of small nuggets by it and they really rang out!

It is Jeral. He's a pretty amazing guy and sure speaks highly of you. BTW Glenn, I did get the 2nd machine and am still hoping to get out with you!
