Hi All, Got the detector today, going to try it out to tomorrow. Air tested a dime at about 11" didn,t have a ruler with me but i know it was that or more. When trying to ground balance the thrush hole don,t sound good, kind of ratty, Dose it sound like that? But seams to work OK, I will let you all know how tomorrow goes. Dean

To hear the threshold well and clear put your volume and sens. at 10 when ground balancing..After balancing set them to your preference while keeping a stable unit while hunting..10-12 inches is in the ball park for airtesting so your fine with that aspect...

Dean,

The threshold on a CZ is 'ratty'. It's a silent search unit and in auto tune ( all metal ) it does have that 'ratty' threshold sound as opposed to threshold based units like Whites machines that have a smooth threshold while hunting.

Sounds like it air tested just fine.
