township has new people on the board and i have lost my honey hole very sad day i was told to get out today i will miss this spot. i have no words to express the way i feel.

That's too bad. I hope you had pretty much cleaned out that 'honey hole' before getting the boot. Can you request to go before the board to plead your case?

I know i hammered it hard but a guy complained from what i was told in not so many words that he broke a blade on the riding lawn mower from a hole dug. Well last time i checked i fill my holes and i dont use a back how to dig with. i think he hit one of the big roots on the pine trees that are 80 feet tall. Any who i know there is a lot left at that spot and i can only wait them out. I know we ahd a problem with animals digging up the wholes we dug i would go back the next day and all the holes i dug would be lifted. I just wonder if someone was doing it to get us kicked out. I hate to think that way but you never know.

Digging up the holes seems like a lot of work for someone to go to just to get a fellow kicked out....not that some psycho might just do that for fun.

I've heard of animals tearing up covered holes...possibly looking for grubs, etc. I wonder if a mothball dropped into the hole before filling it in would stop that problem???

Anyway, I hope you can get back in. Good luck.

putting poison in the ground for a toddler to find is not a good fix,,,,

Grouser, that's a great point. Maybe a little splash of ammonia would do the trick with the animals??

Nothing will stop the toddlers.....if they feel like popping out a plug they're gonna do it! The trick there is to make the plug unnoticeable to them.
