Someone suggested to me that i should let people from Minelab know about our "extreme" detecting stories. I dont know if you remember those pictures i've posted a few weeks back with all the ice on the machine...and ourself!
Well i sent the story to Minelab and they were real pleased with it and to thank me (and Luke) they sent us some nice Minelab gifts in exchange for our story and pictures. Too bad i wont be able to use them for detecting in a near by future... we're having so mutch snow and temerature is soooo cold lately (talk about global warming
!)
Anyway, it was really fun to get those and they were well attentionned to ask us for bodywarmer's size before sending them!

An other good news is coming from my wife... she mentionned this year's winter vacation in the south as a fact, not an option for the first time. Guess all the cold and snow has made her reconsider. We will need to see the psychiatirst before leaving for our son. He isn't well right now and he's been kicked out of school since sept 26th. I've got a sister in law helping us a day or two per week and me and my wife are coping for the other days, but we sure hope to see him in a near by future. His medication isn't working at all right now so he can get into a crisis any moment And the worst is that i've accumulated 10 days of work i ow my boss... so as soon as he's stabilized...and hopefully taken back to school, i can work extra days to pay back my time. (Fortunatly i work 4 days a week... i just have to add an extra day in winter...)
Now if only my gold auctions can pick up a little... i've got 5 lots ending today and the price is way under for now... i know, most of the action should take place in the last 3 minutes, but the suspens is killing me! I've got 6 more lots to put down for auction, but i'll wait to see the results before. If the price isn't satisfying...guess it will be sent to midwest raffineries.
