Yep, a ring is a ring. I always get excited even if they are nothing special.
Nice job on all the nickels. I love finding them because most people pass over those targets.
So what detector are you swinging Fred? Did you have to dig much trash to find those nickels? It was not too nice here in Boise today, but it's supposed to be above 40 tomorrow, so hoping to get out to the park.

running a xlt i found out if you reject +3 to +14it narrows the window actually my setting were except -84 -95 for meteorites reject -96 to +15 to +23 reject +24 to +76 accept +77 to +86 reject +87 to +95.I know what everyone is going to say your missing to much found ring didn't i.I realized last year to be hot on nickel with xlt you have to narrow The +1 to +14 it seems to push the nickel to a narrow band they are pretty easy to find after that.

ok let type it correct except -84 to-95 for meteorites reject -83to +14 accept +15 to +23 reject +24 to +76 high penny accept +77 to +87 dimes quarter reject +88 to +95. It seems to leave a lot out but will find nickel and rings dime quarters and here older penny's start at 77.Now for Indian heads don't know because never found one, no matter what machine or setting.Don,t follow my lead because i just walk in circles.:detecting::drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking::sleepy:

Fred, I use a 6000di pro sl. I air tested one of my Indian Heads and it registered at 50 on my analog meter. Dead center in between pull tab and penny/dime. I had taken such a long time off of detecting that I had to check it out.

I started testing a lot of the neat little trinkets I have found and a lot of them registered in this area.
