So I scored my first silver in 7 years yesterday afternoon with a borrowed Etrac (mine is coming in tomorrow) and tonight I hit a '52 Rosie in my back yard. I've pulled lots of wheats out of there with my F5 in the past, and it's a good location I think....about 40' from the edge of my yard sits a small townhouse that used to be the snack bar and projector building for a 1950's drive-in theater that shut down in 1962. I figured that there SHOULD be silver here, but have never found any until tonight. The worst part of this is that I KNOW FOR SURE I have absolutely HAMMERED that area with my F5 in the past! It really makes me wonder how much else I'm missing in other places I've hunted.
As a side note, I think it's amazing how clean silver comes out of the ground compared to clad!
