I am doing good finding em, just need to find the gold and silver ones :clapping:

Sweet Finds!!! You will get gold soon...

A ring is a ring...

Somewhere along the line, someone did some number crunching and tallied the number of pulltabs to rings, as well as junk rings to good ones.
It pains me to report the numbers were not good. Pulltabs were in the hundreds, if not thousands, for evey ring found and the junk rings to good were like, ten to one. Something like that, anyway.
Knowing that, I consider myself a junk hunter. I learned long ago that there is FAR MORE junk than goodies and most of it masquerades as something else.

The point, of course, is to persevere. DON'T detect because you must find the gold ring. Detect because you like it. Otherwise, you'll go nuts!

Nice finds! Happy to hear someone is getting out. Didn't get much above 36 degrees here and rain mixed with snow all day. Will winter never end? I got the wintertime blues for sure!

Notice there are no nickles in your finds. If this is normally true, you might be missing some gold. Get yourself a US nickle and insure that you are seeing everything from the nickle on up to silver. You could still miss some small low carat gold below nickle, but most rings will be nickle and up on the display. Good luck!

Nice ring, looks like a mood ring.
