It was a killer at work as far as heat goes yesterday. I just headed straight home, grabbed some detectors and headed towards the lake, picking up my buddy Scott on the way. That water machine got the caps, ring and most of the coins. The Yeller Feller got a nice handful of change in the sand.

Here are the cap liners from the bottle caps. I think the "Coca Cola" liner wins a prize, but finding the 'SURFING" liner on a sunday made my day!. Also got a ring at about 10-12 (2 x scoops) inches deep.

I'm working thursday and friday. Maybe we can connect during the evening. I am going on a water hunt Tues, my only day off in a stretch of 12.

Congratulations, John! Ring number 28? Wow! You must of earned your detector investment by now, huh? I really enjoy your tips about how to use the machine better. You seem like a real pro! I hope I can contribute a few good tips like you do someday. Keep on diggin, Kevin from Ipswich, Mass.
