It's my weekend to work, so I have been getting in a hunt after work for the last couple of evenings. I got the ring today. A nice silver grad ring from a local high school. The pic above is yesterday's hunt plus tonight's hunts total combined finds.

Here's a closeup of the ring. I also dug up an old Chinese coin. It's been a few years since I dug one of those. They are pretty hard to find around Edmonton.

What would a hunt be without one of these tokens. I manage to find a couple of these every year. They make an interesting looking coin ring.

Nice finds John !

A couple of days ago I found an old silver ring with a sapphire (I think). My wife overed on that right away...and it fit just right too.

Hey John, is the little heart with the stone in the corner silver? Look real nice in the picture. Good job. If I ever found a ring as nice as the sapphire ring I'd have to keep really quiet about it cause I have a sister and two nieces who would mug me in a minute for it. Good job neighbor.

John is the King of Rings...! How you make that coin ring from that token is beyond me. WTG on your 10th ring..
Dave, a smart husband makes a happy wife...! That is a beautiful ring. HH
I am anticipating my first ring and the spot where I hope to find it is about 30 minutes from home.
It's a good location.
Maybe I can make a trip back this week.
I do want to find a good sea-sand scoop for this place.
The water used to be clear, but it is dark as mud.

Nice hunt!:garrett::detecting:Good clad haul!:clapping: Congrats on the silver ring!:beers: Nice! Thanks for sharing! Happy Hunting!:)
