Got rid of coin counter 101 coins, 3 wheaties

Just thought it was time to get rid of it for now. I post on 4 forums and it was more work than it was worth! But I should pass 5,000 coins for year next week and will keep my goal of 10,000. Thanks everyone for their support!

On to today...101 coins $5.15 and 3 wheaties, nothing rare 1 51-d and 2 52-d's, pictured bottom right.

Gunnar I like to use my Lesche digger and with my dfx I prefer tone id on. In the areas I hunt I really need to be able to pick the coins from the trash. Once in a while a ring does not hurt either!

Earlier in the year when ground was soft I was popping quite a few coins with a screwdriver as well as using the tip of my Lesche for shallow (0.0 to 1.5) recoveries. Now with the hard ground unless its 0..0 and I can tap and feel the coin its the lesche only for me. Thanks for the kind words also.

You will let us know when you hit that 10,000 goal, won't you? Gregg, it's great to see you out there and finding those long lost coins. Before you know it, your finds will pay for that machine. Do you "ear mark" the monies for something special? Guess you know that we do that and enjoy going for a "freebie" weekend get-a-way....now it's on our boat going on the river. Keep up with this great hobby. You never know what you'll come across.

Thanks as I clear each 1000 on the way to 10000 I will drop a message. The counter became a pain to keep up.
