I went out to a field after work and pulled another Union button a flat button and an 1866 IH that is pretty toasted. I'm going to try and soak it for a couple of days to see if I can get any more of the crud off.

Nice finds. I found a couple early 1800's flat buttons yesterday but haven't found any coin earlier than 1901 this month. I'm going to keep trying though.

Very toasted 1832 large cent and a decent 1891 IH today.

They will be planting soon. Season may be over for that field next week.
